As part of his field supervision of services provided to the pilgrims of Imam Hussein’s (PBUH) Arbaeen, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, President of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), inspected one of the medical posts operated by the university’s medical students in cooperation with the International Imamiyah Organisation.
These medical posts offer round-the-clock treatment and first aid services, staffed by trained medical and nursing teams. This initiative contributes to achieving sustainable development. Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by providing direct healthcare services to pilgrims. Involving students in such initiatives also supports Goal 4: Quality Education, by linking theoretical knowledge with practical field experience. Furthermore, collaboration with health organisations embodies Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, expanding the reach and humanitarian impact of the services.
Dr Al-Hayawi emphasised that the students’ participation reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and highlights its role in supporting national and humanitarian initiatives aimed at delivering the highest quality healthcare services to pilgrims.
