Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Talal Faiq Al-Kamali, Presents Scientific Seminar on the Senses and Stages of Perception for College of Science Students
The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Talal Faiq Al-Kamali, delivered a specialized scientific seminar titled “The Senses and Stages of Perception” to students of the College of Science, focusing on the role of the five senses in forming human perceptual images and the process by which sensory stimuli are transmitted to the brain for analysis and understanding.
The seminar included a simplified explanation of the mechanisms and stages of perception, starting from the reception of sensory stimuli, through mental interpretation processes, and culminating in the formation of appropriate responses. Dr. Al-Kamali emphasized the importance of understanding these stages in enhancing students’ scientific thinking skills and developing their ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications in their studies.
The seminar concluded with a discussion session, during which students actively posed questions and inquiries, adding a rich scientific dimension to the event and reinforcing the concepts covered during the session.
