College of Islamic Sciences Holds Scientific Seminar on “The Image of the Pathos Audience and Its Transformations”

Dr. Aksam Ahmed Fayyad delivered a scientific seminar at the College of Islamic Sciences titled “The Image of the Pathos Audience and Its Transformations”, in which he explored the concept of pathos as a key element of persuasive discourse and how the audience is shaped within a discourse according to social, cultural, and psychological circumstances.

Dr. Fayyad also discussed the main transformations in the perception of the audience in contemporary discourse, highlighting the impact of modern media and communication technologies on reshaping the relationship between the sender and the audience. Analytical examples were presented to demonstrate how pathos is employed in constructing discourse and eliciting the desired response from the audience.
